In this paper, I present my research on IP addresses. In my role at the time, I was working on better mapping online user behavior to specific adult-age individuals in the United States for the purposes of entity resolution and record linkage. The business impact of my work was it improved credit applications accuracy, prevented identity theft, reduced fraudulent and scammer calls, and made it harder for bad actors to steal from the elderly.
